Foglizzo Leather for Save the Children

As the holiday season approaches, we wish to share with you an important decision regarding the traditional sending of holiday greetings to our clients.

This tradition has always been inspired by the desire to honor the beauty, exclusivity, and elegance that characterize our daily work.

Considering the extraordinary events and challenges faced by numerous communities throughout this year, we have chosen to emphasize another fundamental value for Foglizzo and its associates: social responsibility.

We have decided to allocate the resources designated for holiday gifts to support charity by backing the Save the Children organization: an international and independent organization that has been striving since 1919 to improve the lives of children worldwide.

This decision also aims to look towards the future: the elimination of material gifts and their transportation has enabled us to contribute to reducing carbon emissions by over 1 tonne of CO2e.

We funded the purchase of essential equipment and medicines for the well-being of children and their families:

– 5 neonatal ventilators: In many countries around the world, even taking the first breath of life is a challenging act, and not all hospitals are equipped with the bare necessities.

– 70 vaccination kits: Large-scale immunizations can save many young lives. The kit containing the necessary equipment for administering vaccinations, including a small carrier, ice to maintain the cold chain.

– 220 antibiotics: Each year, over 800,000 children worldwide can be helped by providing medicines to treat pneumonia.

– 60 temporary shelters: They provide secure tents where displaced families can find shelter.
