Light absorbed by dark surfaces is converted into thermal energy, which radiates as heat. Thermo Leather™ is a last-generation performance leather that uses sun-reflective technology to reduce absorbed energy by 60%.
The temperature difference between standard leather and Thermo Leather™ increases with the duration and intensity of sun exposure. In extreme cases, the temperature difference can be more than 25°C.
