Lineapelle Interiors Leather Duets

We are excited to announce that this year we had the opportunity to participate as guests in the second edition of LINEAPELLE INTERIORS LEATHER DUETS, held from February 25 to 27 at Fieramilano Rho, within the exhibition framework of LINEAPELLE.
Through the ambitious project by Maurizio Molini created with Raether, we express a shared commitment to enhancing naturalness and promoting constant qualitative improvement. The installation is a tribute to the rte povera movement of the 1960s. The material is used without any type of finishing, in combination with raw iron. Everything is reduced to the essentials.
When architect Molini began working on this project, he explains during a meeting, he immediately had the intuition and the desire to highlight the circular features of the material; Raether is an innovative material derived from pre- and post-consumer leather waste, without the use of adhesives or resins. It is obtained by reducing fossil carbon emissions by 60 to 85% compared to leather production and using 95% recycled water. The aesthetic and performance characteristics are those of leather, making it a material usable in various sectors, including automotive, aviation, fashion, and design.
The project is part of the 19+1 installations on display in the 1,000 square meter space within Pavilion 24 of LINEAPELLE, an exhibition dedicated to the meeting between the tanning world and the furniture and design industries. A project born to promote, enhance, and implement innovative excellence in the interior design sector supply chain.
