Barocco & Neobarocco Festival: contemporary design, architecture and the chaise longue by Roberto Semprini

Set within the unique context of Ragusa Ibla, a UNESCO World Heritage site in the heart of the Val di Noto, the Barocco & Neobarocco Festival explores the dialogue between historic architecture, contemporary design and design culture. The event transforms the city into a platform dedicated to creativity, research and innovation in Italian design.

Through exhibitions, installations, talks and special projects, the festival invites architects, designers, artists and enthusiasts to reflect on the value of the Baroque as a language that remains relevant today, capable of inspiring new visions of contemporary design.

Foglizzo is proud to support this initiative as a sponsor, sharing its vision that places design culture, artisanal excellence and innovation at its core. It is also a pleasure to renew its collaboration with Roberto Semprini, an internationally renowned architect and designer with whom we have already had the opportunity to develop highly valuable projects.

During the festival, his chaise longue Borromini will be presented — a design that elegantly interprets the dialogue between formal research, comfort and contemporaneity. The Barocco & Neobarocco Festival thus confirms itself as a privileged observatory on the relationship between historic heritage and design innovation, where architecture, design and the visual arts create new perspectives for the future of historic city centres.
