The natural appearance before painted, has an unmistakable warm and brilliant shade, with a natural, woody and earthy smell.
Colors and textures have a more natural and organic look.
Vegetable-tanning is the true “chromium-free” method, taking inspiration from nature and – in full harmony – to nature going back.
It does not contain any toxic substance harmful to man and is highly tolerable for those who suffer from metal related allergies, in full respect of man and the environment. It is an old-world, artisanal process able to give leather unique characteristics that joins comfort and look, fashion and tradition, uniqueness and versatility.
The dimensions of the belting are smaller than the classic leather hide.
On the other hand, the considerable thickness, which reaches 3-4 mm and its rigidity can become interesting characteristics for design applications.
